Introduction to Qigong Meditation & Taoist Philosophy
This class is a 16 week course in which we meet every other week and is designed to teach the introduction to qigong meditation and Taoist philosophy. The core focus within these 16 weeks is in helping you find your center. The heart-centered state that is foundational to Qigong is not something that I, or any instructor can "directly" teach you. It is a sacred space within yourself that must be discovered on your own through intention and consistent practice. This class is designed to provide a healing environment, a set of tools, medical qigong treatments, and instruction to point you in the right direction. But ultimately, its through your own personal practice that grows this spiritual field within yourself.
Over the course of these 16 weeks together, we will contemplate and discuss the 81 chapters in the Tao Te Ching and learn 9 qigong meditations listed in the class outline below.

For Best Results: To receive the best results from this training and your own personal practice, 3 medical qigong treatments, one on one, are included in this class to help clear out any blocks you may have and balance your energetic system so you can have a clear space to begin your adventure.
For best results, I highly recommend 30-60 minutes of practice on a daily basis, and a gentle mindfulness on your breathing and centering all throughout your day. I would also highly recommend refraining from the use of refined sugar and caffeine as these substances will significantly work against your practice, making it extremely difficult to build a connection to your center.
